Yes, I am moving my writing to Ghost.

Hello subscribers,

I want to thank you all who are from Substack; over 4,600 of you. Your subscriptions have allowed me to move my writing to Ghost, a platform designed and made for writers. Like Substack, Ghost cost money to publish. Currently, your Substack subscriptions are paying for a the water barrel in the Sonoran Desert for lost souls and this Ghost account. Your subscriptions also go to my research costs and to provide a monthly $250 to a family who has suffered greatly at the hands of the US Border Patrol.

Please consider becoming a paid subscriber to the Ghost site. Unlike Substack, all your subscriptions go to me directly. Ghost charges based on how many followers I have signed up. Since I moved your emails with me, I had to bump up from $300/year to $780/year. I would prefer you stop your subscriptions on Substack and join Ghost, but I know this may not be your preference and that is your choice.

Borderland Talk on Substack will stay around until this site can support itself. If it doesn’t make it in a year, I will continue the Substack.
